We thought it would be a lot of fun to invite some kids to our space at Jennie Rogers Community Center to play for a week. Well, they came from near (Garrard County and Nicholasville), and far (Texas and West Virginia). We recruited a couple very talented young counselors and organized a variety of activities to suit a range of ages, in this case 5 to 13 year olds.

We danced, made puppets, wrote plays, flew kites, made paper, painted, played with clay, all sorts of artistic creating! At the end of the week, friends and family gathered for a performance of our skills and a bit of a gallery talk featuring pieces hanging from the ceiling.

What about next year? Well, we will just have to wait and see!

Join Lydia Graham Goldie and her guests including performers from New York and around Kentucky, as well as rising stars in the music world who are sure to make their mark in the future! The concert is sponsored by the Danville P.E.O. Chapter. Tickets are available at the door – adults $20.00, students and children are $5.00. Reception to follow in the church hall. This unique event is only held in odd numbered years. The Preview Party is Friday, May 16th from 6:30 to 8:30 at Pioneer Playhouse. This is the time for ticket holders to plot their strategy for the Draw Party on Saturday, May 17th. Each ticket includes admission for two to both nights and ONE choice in the DRAW.
