Constitution Square Festival is just a month away

A past art vendor was set up early in the morning of the Festival last year. The weather was beautiful and the crowds turned out in droves to sample, and purchase, beautiful works of art, crafts, local Farmer’s Market products, baked goods and food vendors and visit with many community partners to learn about their programs. Music by local artists and friends of the community filled the air all day.
Don’t miss the 2025 Festival in historic Constitution Sqaure, Danville, KY on Sept. 13th from 9:00 to 5:00. This is a family friendly event with something for everyone.
Thank you to our presenting sponsor, Whitaker Bank, without whose support the event would not be possible.

Summer Camp was fun!

We thought it would be a lot of fun to invite some kids to our space at Jennie Rogers Community Center to play for a week. Well, they came from near (Garrard County and Nicholasville), and far (Texas and West Virginia). We recruited a couple very talented young counselors and organized a variety of activities to suit a range of ages, in this case 5 to 13 year olds.
We danced, made puppets, wrote plays, flew kites, made paper, painted, played with clay, all sorts of artistic creating! At the end of the week, friends and family gathered for a performance of our skills and a bit of a gallery talk featuring pieces hanging from the ceiling.
What about next year? Well, we will just have to wait and see!
